Michelle (Olsen) Smith

Here is a low down of the past nine years.

99-00 I moved to Orem the day after graduation. I got a job managing my own Subway restaurant. I managed it for 4 years. I met the love of my life and got engaged to be married.

01 I was married in the LDS Manti Temple. I continued to manage Subway.

02 We had our first child. A beautiful girl that we named Kialey Ann Smith.

03-04 My husband was layed off from his job and work was scarce. We weighed all our options and decided the USAF was the best choice for our family. Then I could be the stay at home mom I wanted to be. My husband left in November to go to boot camp and tech school which was a long 4 months without him. When he got back they moved us to Little Rock AFB in Arkansas. A month later I had our first boy. We named him Justice Jordan Smith. Only six months later I got the worst phone call of my life. My brother Troy called to tell me that my parents had been killed in a car accident. My world felt like it was going to fall apart but I have a great husband that supported me through it. We flew to UT to plan and attend the funeral. While there we got the news that we were expecting baby #3.

05-06 We had our second girl. Addison Lynn Smith. Life was just busy chasing the kids. Josh continued to move up in rank in the USAF.

07 We found out we were moving to New Mexico as well as pregnant with baby #4. I spent the summer packing and being pregnant. We took a road trip while moving. We dropped all our stuff off in new Mexico then took a trip to UT and MT to see family. We got back to New Mexico and moved into the house. Only two weeks later baby four arrived . It was a crazy delivery. After only 1 hour of contractions he was coming out. We had to call 911 and the paramedics got there just in time to catch him. He was born on the bathroom floor of the new house! The kids were in the living room. It was crazy!! We named this little boy Jett Montana Smith.

08 Not too exciting. We took a trip to CT,NY,RI and MA to visit my husband's mission. We also took a trip over to Palmyra and had a great time. When we got back the USAF informed Josh that in three days he would be leaving to WA to do survival training for a month. I decided that since he was going to be gone I would take the kids to UT and MT to see family. I drove four kids by myself 1300 miles to see family. We also drove over to WA to see Josh for a week end while he was between trainings. I did a total of 4000 miles of travel with the kids for two months. It was a long summer but great too.

09 Has already been an eventful year. We have had surgery on the three year old Addy as well as my husband having arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder putting him out of work for a month. Then I just had two root canals and that in and of itself has felt like surgery. We are hoping the rest of the year looks better!

I look forward to coming to the reunion and seeing everyone.

Aaron Peterson

Greetings from Idaho. Here is a quick run-down of the past ten years:

99-00 I went to Snow one semester before serving a mission in Connencticut and Rhode Island. That one semester was a blast and I worked hard saving money to pay for the mish. I worked still at the Mount Pleasant seminary and at Bar-E.

00-02 I had a great mission and still have a great fondness for New England. Fall there is the best time of year and I still miss the smell the air gets as the millions of trees fade into winter.

02-04 I got home just before my 21st birthday and could not wait to get back into the swing of things. My first date home was with Becca Hanson. I think we went to a dance at Snow. Later on she was in my cousin's ward and my cousin's wife was her visiting teacher! I bought my first car, a red honda accord (which is still running) and looked for a job and found one up in Utah County. So I took my life back to my old stomping grounds and lived with my cousins in Orem. I worked at Los Hermanos in Lindon and almost got married, but it didn't work out. I began UVSC that fall of '02 and took a different job as a glass technician for Techna Glass. That didn't go for too long and I found a job at TwinLab thanks to our good friend Trista! Trista and I became the best of friends for many years to come going on countless road trips and 311 concerts. At the end of '04 I got laid off of TwinLab and started a new job at NuSkin day one of '05.

05-06 While giong to school full-time at night I worked full-time at NuSkin as a formulator. I was getting a psych degree, but found I had a knack for personal care formulations. I lived at home with my family (they moved to Pleasant Grove) and worked hard to get my degree done ASAP. Two weeks before the end of 06 I got a call from a similar company in Idaho Falls, whom NuSkin did some business with and got an offer I couldn't refuse. So I packed my things and moved up to Idaho Falls to begin a new life. 07-Present Just before I left to Idaho I started dating a girl whom I had known for almost a year. Angel was in my BYU singles ward and we just hadn't connected until then. We started clicking and decided to trade off weekends and date long distance. Although dating long distance wasn't fun it eventually worked out and we got married in June of last year in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. I sold my condo in Provo and made a killing off it just before the market went flat and bought us a nice place just east of Idaho Falls in Ammon. On labor day of last year we discovered we were pregnant and now are the proud parents of a very healthy and happy baby girl, A.J. (Angel Jane). I began working for Melaleuca at the end of January of 08 and am currently enjoying my position there.

Well there it is, the past ten years in a nut shell. This spuds for you! (I know lame potato joke) Aaron, Angel, and A.J. Peterson

Jennivee (McArthur) Wohlwend

After graduating High school, I moved to Orem and attended Von Curtis Academy of Hair Design. During my first year of living up in Utah County, I met the love of my life Justin Wohlwend. We got married and started our family. Our first girl was born in August of 2000. Shortly after that in October of 2000 I graduated from VCA, with a license in Cosmetology. I worked a couple different salons until I found the one I felt at home in. I started working at Great Clips in Lehi in late 2001. In 2004 I transferred to help open another Great Clips location in American Fork, and was made Assistant Manager. In Feburary of 2004 we had the arrival of our 2nd little girl. Trying to juggle assistant manager and two little girls, one being a newborn was a challenge. But one the was short lived. Justin got a job offer in California that he could not pass up. So July of 2004, we packed up and moved to Bakersfield, CA.
A year after living in Bakersfield Justin's job had a layoff. We thought for sure we were headed back to Utah. But while looking for another job, he found his current employer in Corona, Ca. Where we have been now for the past 3 years. I found it very hard to transfer my license to California, and Justin works many hours. So I got the fortune of being a stay at home mom. In December of 2005 we delivered our final little girl. Yes 3 GIRLS! But we love them to pieces and I love being here everyday, watching them grow and learn new things. So now a days my life consists of Taking my kids to school, play groups, housework, and etc...

Marlyce (Rawlings) Friess

The last 10 years have been quite an adventure for me. After graduating, I received my Associate's Degree from Snow College (the greatest college in the world). While there I met my husband, Richard, and we were married in August of 2001. Since Snow College, we have lived in Salt Lake while Rich finished his undergraduate studies and then moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where Rich attended law school at the University of Nebraska. We have one little girl, Kinley, who is 2 years old now. After finishing law school, we lived in Pocatello, Idaho for a year while Rich did a Judicial Clerkship and he now works for a firm in Idaho Falls. I have been on the "Put Your Husband Through School" program and worked for a pharmaceutical research company during our school years. I am now a stay at home mom and am having a blast with my little girl. I will soon be returning to school to finish my degree and hopefully end with a masters in Psychology. For now, we are just enjoying being done with school, being home owners, traveling a little bit, and we definitely enjoy being closer to family and friends.
